In my teens in Iran I often used to read National Geographic magazine, which developed my interest in nature. In my adult life I had the fortune of living in Los Angeles near the coast for more than twenty years. I love to bike, hike and visit the abundant and fabulous natural sceneries of this country. I was inspired by my mentor to grow personally. He encouraged me to do paintings as one of the ways to express myself. That is how my new journey started.

    I first started with abstract expressions then became enamored with landscape paintings and now doing plein air in addition. I get excited by the limitless sceneries that surround us which are depicted in my landscape pieces. A subject close to my heart is painting flower arrangements by my wife. Abstract gave me the freedom to express the intricacies of the inner.

    As a physician I look forward to treating my patients with utmost care. Their satisfactory feedback has been overwhelming throughout the years. Creativity in the form of painting has been one of the elements which has brought balance to my being including my work and family.

    Finally, I would like to extend my gratitude to all my art teachers especially the ones at Brentwood Art Center who have helped me with this endeavor.
